This is the beauty of indian constitution that all the power doesnt lie only in one branch ( legislature or executive ) in democracy. equal powers have been given to all three parts( judiciary , legislature and executive).

Bcz in njac there are two ministers who take a vital role in selecting the judge . The NDA govt. Tried to poticised the juducial appointment. But they failed as the Supreme court declared it as void.
