Alice in Chains has been my favorite band since the early 90's . Very critical of anyone covering this song , I'd have to say In Flames nailed this.

Good job on the cover.. Being a lifelong musician, and AIC as one of my big influences, gotta give In Flames credit. To branch out and cover a song from a power house band, (one of the greatest rock bands in history), takes some major balls of steel. The point of a cover is to take something familiar to so many people, and give it a different feel, in the sound of the band covering it. Also, they also are paying homage and giving utmost respect to the band they are covering the song for. It's not easy to do, and they expected criticism for it, I'm sure. But they paid their respects and played a kick ass tune..

This is a good cover. The song basically sounds the same, but wit the In Flames style to make it a bit different. Any fan of In Flames knows that Anders could hit every note that Staley and Cantrell can hit, but he is holding back...to achieve a specific sound. Thumbs up!

To those who complain about the typo...you do realise that English is not their native tongue, right? Check out the song titled "Satellites and Astronauts", and pay attention to how he pronounces the words...satellites and astronauts.

Im not sure if i like it or not yet. I'll give it a chance. I've always loved Alice in Chains, but I can't quite get into this version as much. Its missing something. I wouldn't diss the band, I couldn't do it any better, but it doesn't have as much feel as I'd like to hear in a song. It's like music thats been written with a straight edge. I'm not sure how else I could politely describe this.

every other comment is talking about how Anders cant hit the notes that Layne could or he isnt as good of singer...you know what you all are right...Anders will never be the singer that Layne was..But i ask you how well do you think that Layne would sound trying to push out the raspy growl on Inflames classics like Satelites andastronauts, or Bullet Ride, or Trigger...you cant compare two things that are so different....i give them props for attempting to take on a song with as much power as down in a hole....but at there best AIC would sound just as off trying to reproduce and InFlames tune...man i miss Jesper, he would have never let this happen to his band....

Am I the only one disappointed in this cover. They could have done so much better. I understand they put their own flare on it but they could have done so much better. I'm not saying that they didn't do a good job I am saying listening to them over the year and know how awesome they play and sing they could have rocked the guitar parts way harder and thrown in their own flare on the guitar solos and the vocals. I feel like this was a hurry and get on the album song that they didn't get to take their time on it? I dont love them any less though lol

Not here to just hate, I like In Flames. However, this has to be one of the worst covers I’ve ever heard.. so overproduced and his voice does not fit the song at all. Way too many vocal effects and auto tune on here. Nice of them to cover it though.
