Its one thing to just transform a track into another Genre. But it takes A whole other Level of Talent to convey the Feeling too. This is no Cover ! This is an Extension! Well done In Flame!

I'm not really aware of any of In Flame's work, but I see a LOT of hate over this track. Nice to see some well earned praise here too. On that note, people should realise that artists are human too. They want to experiment, try new things, expand their horizons. This includes their music. So what, your favorite band put out a cover or even an album you don't like. Who gives a fuck? Don't listen to it then. This is an incredible cover, and it seems like they enjoyed creating it. Musicians cannot grow if they just rehash whatever album you like. Deal.

It's a cover people. Appreciate it for what it is and dont just automatically judge them saying oh they aren't metal anymore. All bands experiment with the sound throughout the years and many older metal bands branch out to different music genres. I've listened to this band since Lunar Strain and appreciate the diversity of their sound.

I'm glad I'm a newer fan. I can enjoy old and new. Seems like a lot of disappointed older fans. Anyway, from my perspective this is a killer cover. Like excellent. It may not be the style of music you are wanting In Flames to play but it's still excellent nevertheless. In my opinion. Fucking Party 🤘

In Flames changed a lot in the last 4-5 years. From their dress code to what kind of music they compose now. They put much more commercial sound and clean melodic vocals. Probably they want to appeal to bigger population which is not bad at all if they want to make money and live from music. Heavy Metal market is not that big and many bands realize that if they want to survive and play they must modernize and appeal to younger population. Last couple of years there is explosition of hipster Heavy Metal bands with clubbing dress code. Is it good or bad I don’t know, but if they produce good music I don’t care actually.

i keep waiting for a death metal cover of DM's Nothing. As a massive fan for years of DM and a fan of IF I can say that I love this cover. It is very good. I love when bands I love respect and cover my favorite band of all time's songs.
