Love it dude! I flew my brother and his fiancé around the NYC skyline / Hudson River corridor for his proposal years ago. Such a fun way to revisit the city where they first met. Love the laughs throughout the video too, awesome to see more laid-back professional pilots not taking themselves too seriously. The tux and tails presentation of aviation that some people insist on pushing just keeps more folks from ever jumping into the industry in the first place. Good on you for keeping the fun alive whilst always being a pro!

Thanks mate congrats on your PPL. From my experience, the channel has taken a long time to gain traction. I’ve been doing it since 2015 and just recently it started to grow faster. Be careful with what you put in your videos too, because the FAA will be watching and so will the trolls who think people wanna hear their opinions.. nahhhh lol..

Ah man I appreciate your support! When your hand heals see how much motion you've got in it and if worst comes to worst you could try and get a SODA (statement of demonstrated ability) to still be able to fly. Not sure on your level but worth knowing.

Hey you need to paint that 172 Hot Pink so you don't forget how to fly the ATR - where the wings are properly placed - high and out of the way! BTW, it's nigh on impossible not to float a 172 (well that's my experience anyway)!

You can tell you are flying a 172 not only because you can float away 3/4 of the runway but you have plenty of time on final to adjust your sunglasses and fix your hair. :)

Aside from the superior stability aspects of the high wing configuration, the demonstrated superior structural integrity of the 172 series versus the PA-28 series and the built-in shade providing increased protection from UV exposure while flying, it is difficult to understand your disdain for the 172. I also suspect that the 172 is more forgiving in the CG Department which was an important consideration for this flight, right? I’m just surprised that you didn’t pull a Jet Blue and require them to wear masks...

Let’s be honest here, the consideration for the 172 was merely power related. The only PA-28 option at KORL was a 151. We all know if there were an Archer available, that would have been the bird of choice. It’s just better. I shouldn’t reply to comments 5 minutes after waking up. I sound very serious.
