24 күн бұрынReform MPs have struggled to find seats in the House of Commons as Parliament returned to work this afternoon for the first time since the general election.
The Commons was absolutely packed for the formal reopening and Reform MPs had to stand as proceedings got underway.
The main job of MPs this afternoon is to elect a new Speaker.

First thing Nigel says, with no notes, calls John Bercow a little man, stands up for democracy while simultaneously charming the speaker. Nigel didn't struggle to find his seat, or his words.

There are only 5 or 6 days a year when all available seats are taken. It doesn't make sense to have a ginormous hall in which half the seats are empty for all but a handful of days a year.
