I feel like I would be an invisible peon, not ugly but not beautiful enough to end up in a high up management position. I like how it explores the fickle nature of beauty. From the wrong angle or under bad lighting the beauty score plummets, proving that anyone can be made ugly by perfectly normal, common situations. It's therefore an impossible standard, and you will only go crazy trying to meet it all the time

Damn, at first I thought it was one of those silly anime but actually it turned out to be pretty decent. I guess it's Chinese anime? I live in South Korea where the beauty standard is insane. Everyone openly judges each other's appearance here, so I kinda felt relatable watching it 😂 Anyways, thanks so much for the video.

It's a dual edge sword. To openly judge is nice because you get to see the window of what the people are thinking about (wether you want to do something about it is upto you lol). On the other hand it can cause disdain especially among the younger people (teens, obsessive young adults and such). Another pro is that ppl in the streets on average are cleaner by a certain degree over societies that don't have a open judgement on appearance (making it feel easier to go out on whatever).
