Now, Travis kissed James again and lead to sex. Here, Travis got boyfriend, James acknowledged his love and grief for Jeff, both loved same person, but they had sex. Its like Travis kissed because he knows if not, James will feel sad and eventually go back to closet. So, he pulled him out completely through the gay sex. James is very much like Jeff but then he hid himself and acted opposite. He naturally likes Travis and Travis likes back as brothers look similar. Next morning, Travis leaves, saying Jeff loved him too, giving James a closure. James decided to openup his personality and sexuality as what is best way than behaving like Jeff and Travis, damaging car of the ignorant homophobic shit for his words at funeral. He did infront of the man symbolising he is cameout and not afraid anymore.

To me Travis the line when he kiss his ex's brother (James) at a moment the brother was extremely vulnerable. A lot of gay's that have a twin the other twin have same tendencies of the other twin. Still it was the wrong time. It was almost like date rape to me. The the unspoken word of NO, forcing himself on the brother. The vandalizing the car was not the right thing to do to me.. I would've have spray painted the windows telling the world the owner is a Homophobe, no real damage done to the car but a misdemeanor charge, but the real damage was done to the owner reputation telling all what type of person he is.

Going with his dead brother's ex was a way of continuing his love for his brother. I don't think the ex was either a 'good' or a 'bad' character. He was also mourning the loss, but not as much, and probably did want to help in his own way. The ending was James standing up against homophobia, which would have not been only cathartic for his own struggle with homophobia, but also with his grief.
