Oh you are such a wonderfully aware care provider. You know what makes these little ones cooperate. I love that you teach them independence in clean up, eating and by being responsible. Their parents love you for it. You have so many fun things for them to play with and really teach them so much through play, videos and work sheets. Maybe some chunky round pencils will help those new writers. I would be proud to have my kiddos be with you. You are a caring, helpful teacher as well as caregiver. No wonder you build such relationships with them. Like the little ones that moved away, you still go visit them. I feel tired just watching how busy one day is for you! You obviously enjoy them so much. 🙂

I love your day structure 🥰 Thank you for the clarification of the hiccups 😅 the video shows a very smooth day. I really love the active participation of the kids on setting up and putting things away, they really enjoy helping on things they believe are adults chores LOL, but this really helps with their formation as a responsible individuals. I noticed you do not prepare meals at home this I find is a game changer for many things not time saver but the kids get to eat what they are used to at home and are not to eat all the same meal. Do you have any parents requesting or preferring to have you provide the meals? How they take this part?

I love your daycare videos Abbe! So informative! You will make an amazing mother some day!! What are your states requirements on diapering? Are you required to wear gloves? Would love to see a video on how you do diapering in a home daycare setting!

Thank you! Diapering is pretty simple. I don’t have to wear gloves. I sanitize the table in between the children. They each have their own bin for wipes and diapers.

I would recommend seeing what other daycares in your area charge. Prices are really going to vary depending on where you live. 😊

Do you provide only breakfast? How/why did you decide on parents sending lunch & snacks vs you providing?

Parents provide all meals. Most kids eat breakfast before they come. I worked at a daycare in college that had parents send the food just like I do, so I decided to do the same thing! 😊

Thank you!! I don’t really have a curriculum. I just gear circle time/activities towards what the bigger kids need to learn and then make changes so the little ones can do it too 😊
