I'm just wondering, but since you are from Hong Kong could you provide some insight? I'm wondering how public support for the movement is right now, because I've seen a lot of people claiming to be from Hong Kong and saying that they hope the security law stops the protests, that lethal force is used, ect. Is this true? Do many people Hong Kong support such a bill, or is it likely that these are Chinese mainlanders?

USA is the testing ground of democracy. It fails. China is the testing ground of socialism. It is successful.

The misguided and exploited youths of HK. They had no idea what they were doing were nothing if not being foolish and taken advantage by foreign powers with hidden agendas. These so called protests were orchestrated and choreographed to exact maximum effect to tarnish the Hk government and to a larger extent China. This was pure and simple and easily sold to the young and the impressionable crowds without them realizing they were just tools and totally expandable and once their face value was diminished, they were nothing but chess pieces to be taken off the board. There is not one, not a single one country in the West, the G7, G20, or any law abiding country that would have allowed such lawlessness and anachronistic activities. For lack of a better word, these Hk citizens were programmed, abetted to become traitors of their country, destroyers of their homes and cities. Shame on them and shame on you. Try do this in the West, and your head will spin so fast and won’t know what hit you.

And even if they were Chinese it doesn't mean Beijing has tthe right to oppress them at will! Pretty sure if China was a modern Democracy we wouldn't have seen these protests - also because a democratic government would have heeded the bilateral agreement made with Britain at the end of the Hong Kong lease.
