About 15 years ago, went to a pow wow in my county (Howard Co., MD) and stood next to men singing that high pitched chant, while striking the drum in perfect synchronization. The field before us was filled with men and women in tribal finery, swaying to the vibrations. Don't believe anything in my life has ever aporoached the awe filled intoxication that flooded my senses on that summer day. It left me with feelings of pride (that humans could ascend so high as those beautiful people), shame (for what people like me had done to these original Americans, and are still doing) and hope, for them, finding their way in this oft cruel world.

Brilliant wish i understood all the movements but i love this anyway you are are proud people with a great heritage
