Junior thank you so much for this amazing tribute to my cousin Rodney Ray Burgess. Tears flowing as I was able to see my cousin follow and accomplish his dream of being a truck driver. Thank you for being his trainer and becoming his friend along the way. Thank you for all that you did to help our family. Thank you everyone for your kind remarks. Rodney was a very kind man with a great sense of humor. He had a beautiful smile. He will be missed by our family and friends. My cousin had a heart attack and that is what took him out. Thank you again and please keep Junior and our family in your prayers.

Patricia Pinkney your cousin is a amazing man..!! the hard work I seen from the videos you can see he was a humble man. one who loves to laugh and help someone out. watching Rodney in all these videos gave me some good laughs because of his personality and how much of a passion he had in doing this truck driving deal. Patricia your cousin is a awesome gentleman and one of the few people who had a dream and stuck to it and made it come true...!!! it's really crazy how God works with us in our lives. when the man upstairs know it's time to go, he only knows... R.I.H 💔💔🙏

Its been three weeks now that my brother has gone to sleep (I am the oldest now of the three siblings left (females) we were a year apart). He was our only brother and the first born. I (we) miss him greatly and know that he is resting/sleep now with his nephew, my youngest son, his mother, and others of his loved ones who preceded him and time will heal where the void has brought pain. His Spirit (Breathe) ascended back to the Father who gave it and he has no more worries, concerns or pains in the world as we do. Isaiah 57:1 Good people pass away; the righteous pass away before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that Yah (God) is protecting them from the evil to come. (The Living Translation). Rodney's days on this earth has ceased and the good memories of him will never perish in our hearts especially with this video of stepping into the last adventure and dream of his life. (Thank you Junior for the memories and tribute) . He left here doing something people talk about but never do. Let this encourage all in whatever way you need to be encouraged to never give up on yourself. Pray for one another in these perilous times ahead in Truth. His spirit is in a much better place than we are! RIP precious Rodney!

I bet Rodney had no idea how many other folks he would positively affect in some simple YT videos. Thank God there are these videos for everyone on those days when their really missing him. To have a crummy day and know that they can come hangout with Rodney again, see his smile, hear his laugh, his voice, watch his "pimp walk." A blessing, unknown at the time these videos were made, just how important they'd become only a few short months later. The man up above works in some of the craziest ways! RIP, Rodney. I just met you for the first time today and I'm proud to have gotten that opportunity.

The most beautiful video I've ever seen. It's like I just met Rodney. .. I returned to our yard here in NC, and felt sudden urge to grab my phone and hit this channel. And just now I met Rodney in this video. Tears came to my eyes, same time as a smile did...and the feeling that Rodney is thrilled right now. Yes. thrilled . I just looked to the clouds here and nodded and said to myself, "Rodney, I got it. I know you're looking down at us and you're pleased, and I'm guessing you're haulin the real freight right now. " Thank you Rodney.

Never knew the guy and was just clicking through videos here and there on youtube till I came across the video "This is what happened to Rodney B" I watched the video from start to finish and it just touched a chord. It makes you stop and think, and realize that we take so many things for granted. Illusioned into believing that the days are always and never ending. Clock in, clock out, eat, sleep, and repeat. But the aches and pains and gray hairs eventually catch up with you some day. And makes you realize you're not that immortal. And your mind starts to wonder, if I could do it over, knowing then what I know now, I would and I would try to do it better, strive to be a better person a little bit earlier in life. I can tell Rodney would be the type of guy I would have liked. This memorial video was really nice. You did an awesome job at putting this video together. I know Rodney would really like it.

Hey Junior, Very Sad story but also inspiring. Its not hard to see you and Rodney had a great connection. The first video I saw of you and him was the 5% downgrade and he couldn't get it into 8th gear and you kept telling him to watch his RPM's. My heart has been touched by the story you told about what happened and the memory tribute you did. Im watching all these videos waiting to go off to my training to be in that driver seat and I can only pray to have a trainer as passionate as you are. My prayers go out to you, to Rodneys family and I want to say thanks for sharing. Stay safe out there and I look forward to more videos from you. R.I.P. RodneyB. This is a touching, heart felt video, I'm a truck driver, and I remember my trainer, and you do get close, and become friends. And I'm sorry that this happen, but look at it this way, God place people in our lives, sometimes only but a season, to show his love and compassion, and looking at the video, he always was positive, and had a smile!!! But, you the trainer should be happy, because God use you, to help him accomplish his dream, a truck driver, even though he didn't do it long, but it was accomplish. Remember our plans in life, don't supercedes God's plans, and he had a higher plan for your student. Just cherish the memory, good times, laughter, and keep him dear to your heart. God has smile down upon you my friend.

Soooo sorry. He was so full of LIFE!!! A lot of us were always pulling for him during his training. Rodney was always so positive it made you reevaluate your own attitudes and out looks on life. I am so sorry Junior. I know it's got to be weighing on you pretty hard. You were the man though that made it possible for Rodney to realize his dream of becoming a professional Truck driver.

RIP BIG RODNEY As a commercial driver myself, i can say he had the same attitude i had when i was learning how to drive trucks. He wanted it and got it. He accomplished his goal and im really happy he did it. Unfortunately, he left us too soon. We need more truckers with his attitude. He looked like a great man. May god have him in his eternal glory. RIP BROTHER RODNEY 10/4 over and out!!

There was no better way to honor your student, fellow truck driver, and friend. This video right here makes everything you've done on KZfaq worth your efforts.
