May 1976 was the time when 30,000 Liverpool FC fans invaded the South Bank at Molineux, home to Wolverhampton Wanderers. We reveal the stories from 3 fans who were there.
Liverpool needed a draw to win the old first division title (now the premier league) and Wolves needed to win and hope Birmingham lost to avoid relegation, so the stakes where very high.
The attendance was 48,000+ that night, but most people who were there claim the actual attendance was much higher.
We'll let our story tellers explain.
