This video is dedicated to 64 members of the Alexandrov Russian Army Song and Dance Ensemble, who died in the Russian Tupolev Tu-154 airplane crash over Black Sea on December 25th, 2016. The loss of the Alexandrov Ensemble is a big national tragedy for the Russian people, who were so proud of this choir, one of the most famous and beloved choirs in Russia and all over the world.
It is also a big loss for Americans, who cherish memories of their performances. One of the performances in US is included in this video, which was recorded at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC in 1989.

Russian musicians in America have responded to the Russian tragedy and set up a series of the concerts in memory of the members of the Alexandrov Ensemble, 2 from which are scheduled in Washington, DC on March, 17th at the Russian Embassy and on March, 24th at the RCC.
