I had to lay my 14-1/2 year old Nalu to rest just last month. Her mom was a rescue who was pregnant with a litter, of which Nalu was a part of. I've had many dogs to share my life with, but losing them doesn't get any easier. I swear, I miss them more and think about them all the time than family members who have passed on. A dog's love is unconditional and everlasting and I thank you for sharing Bonnie's life and legacy. May you find peace.

You know that your Bonnie is in Heaven, where she is perfect and perfectly happy. God bless you and keep you, and may He give you healing from this pain.

I too lost my girl Sarah at 18yrs and 10months old in feb 2018 and there has not been a day go by that i have not missed her. Then i lost my Ginger bob cat on the 21st of feb 2023 and he was 18 yr old turning 19 in april. it hurts so much when they pass over but think about it like this and this helps me to cope with the loss of both of them. Think about rainbow bridge and how lovely it must be but its a bridge and they go there to wait for you on the other side for you so you can walk together thru heavens gates. God looks after our fur babies and making sure they are happy and not sad and not sick and most all not in pain. i think thats a much nicer way to think about them and when you pass from this life you will get to see them again and spend the rest of eternity with them. go out side tonight and look up and when you see the biggest star thats Bonnie looking down at you and wagging her tail with a smile on her face. big hugs from Australia. xo

Beautiful. i lost my dog 1.5 months ago at the age of 12 and i am still sad but i know he had a great life and was greatly loved. He is pain free now. I'd like to think that he and Bonnie are together having a great time and waiting for us to join them again.
