A low maintenance pet, yes but still requires a level of research before getting one and preparations. Putting away money in the bank in case of a vet trip, proofing your home, knowing heat temps and humidity. With my ball python I did research and prepared a year before even getting one. A ball pythons average life span is 30 years so that's a long commitment. A beardies lifespan is up to ten years and that's still a commitment. I'm surprised slosh managed to keep that lizard for as long as he had.

While I wouldn't say reptile care is super hard (although some require a lot) it's not the easiest thing. I have a Crested Gecko and he requires a bit of maintenance. Once I remodel my house I'll build a reptile room, and one of them is gonna be a bearded dragon.

I had Geckos as a kid and one of them always sprinted to the exit when i opened the door even a bit, once he got past me and i found him hiding under the fridge. I have no idea how he would get out of the apartment though, like if he got out of the tank just don't open the front door until you find him

I don't know... I have a bearded dragon and Puff looked pretty healthy. I think it's likely he let Puff roam around the house and lost him. I know a guy who has lost like 6 + lizards from just letting them run around freely outside and doesn't learn his lesson.

It was, actually. You can only report someone for what they've done, not what might happen. He never physically abused Puff and he didn't outright neglect him because he provided food and stuff. I do agree that it this would inevitably end badly though. Messing with someones personal life IRL is always crossing a line. That's harassment, not trolling. There's a fine line between trolling and harrassment and abuse.

Clint pays for Josh's apartment so he doesn't have to live with the reminder of his failure. If Josh died tomorrow, Clint would act sad, but on the inside finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Oh, don’t worry - he won’t. His “dippreshion” is only for show, a way of insisting to the world that he’s really broken up about this. Funny then that *during* his “whers puff” video he can’t help mention his future meaduh plans and has now posted a multi-part series of him incompetently playing with his stupid “akkahol.” He’s already just waiting patiently for Puff to return to his apartment (assuming the whole “ran away” story isn’t a coverup) or maybe Casper’s lost pet locating team will find Puff for him. This has been something that has genuinely affected my feelings about Josh. The way he was immediately arrogant about what an amazing pet owner he was because he’s so good with animals and he’d done exhaustive research on caring for bearded dragons, so everyone can kiss his ass. He made mistake after negligent mistake, lecturing viewers like he was an expert on the subject: “If Puff didn’t like fat hits, he’d let me know. My Puffers will just love this entire bell pepper, this useless romaine, and being shot in the face with this calcium water I invented!” There’s a good bit of debate as to what actually happened to Puff, but Josh is sticking to the story that it got outside somehow because “there’s nothing you can do - pets run away because they are animals” and that he has done everything he can to find him, even searching around his building several times. He’s been gone six days and his expert research has told him it’s “time to freak out” if it goes past eleven. ELEVEN days in late November in Wyoming. He called Metro and the police, but all those troll calls made Metro drag their feet sending their pet finding team to help search. There’s nothing more he can do and bearded dragons are known to dig holes to hibernate in, so he’s just hoping that one day when he’s out smoking that Puff will walk up to him like “hey, I know you.” The arrogance from Josh and Clint that Josh was this excellent caretaker of animals and that anyone who was concerned just didn’t want Josh to have happiness, the disregard of any and all advice, Josh’s instant expertise in lizard care, his head shaking and scoffing because his trolls are so stupid, and finally him killing his lizard either through carelessness, neglect, or possibly regard rage, has really made me angry and disgusted with this dude. I thought people were over-reacting, that he could manage the bare-minimum effort and care required to look after this living being he was responsible for, him being a man with nothing but time and who barely left his apartment. Ms. Green was a random bug - Puff was something different and caring for him should not have been beyond Josh. Well, the people who were worried were right. Any sympathy I had for this arrogant, reckless, lying, manipulative, performative, shallow, lazy idiot cretin has evaporated. ChrisChan’s actions were shocking and disturbing, but Josh with Puff has been both saddening and enraging. Good job, BOY - your pet is now like girls, something you’ll never Puff with again.

Yeah that’s what I’m sayin Toobz. So he’s obviously out of its cage, but it’s winter in Caspergus, or it’s cold, so Jord wouldn’t have the window open so it’s not like he climbed up the wall and out the window, so he must have exited from the front door, but if that happened, Jord would have seen it straight away and could have caught him because they’re not exactly fast. Add to that, Jord lives in an apartment, so Puff had to negotiate a hallway, as well as stairwells, other doorways etc and a door to the outside which I assume was kept shut? So did he take him outside while he had a smoke? Even if he did, how the hell did he manage to take off quickly enough that Jord was unable to chase and catch him? Like it’s cold, so he’s not going to be full of energy, how the shit could he have taken off so quick?? This doesn’t make sense toobz. There was a post on Reddit allegedly from someone in the apartment block who say Josh acting strange by the dumpster and checking no one was around and then putting a shoebox in. When they retrieved the shoebox they found a deadski puffers. Now I don’t know how truthful it is, but it sounds a lot more likely.

I’m agreeing with the theory that this “runaway” story is a red herring to cover the fact that Josh either starved, parched, squished, poisoned or otherwise neglected the bearded dragon. I lost a few Geckos and Anoles in my time but I was 7, they’re like two inches long and I always found them near a radiator, alive, until one day they just croaked in their enclosure from an “old age” of three years. They can sneak under gaps in doors and remain unseen. How the heck do you “lose” something the size of an iguana? It can’t jump out the window or open a door. I’m going with dropped drunk or smooshed drunk.
