Ive never danced really..starting at my birth Ive been under attack. I saw my father killed, I survived, then was abused, set on Fire, stayed in an orphanage and then adopted and they were abusive, very hard beatings....been casted out because my skin wasn't light enough, I wasn't tall enough, I wasn't from their village. I want my most dark excruciating days be used for good and not be wasted. It still hasn't stopped...I do ask for Joy and His strength and wisdom and peace. Theres been a few days when I wake up with full bowl of hope, I love morning like that. I don't want my joy to be stolen any more days. I pray that my latter days are beyond my imagination. I know in my heart God is good, faithful and He didn't save me from all this for me to end up homeless and no earthly family no home no job. Please remember me in your prayers. My name is Ruby.

I've been struggling with my weight all my life. Since Covid the Lord has blessed me to lose over 40 pounds. These past few days all the fried, greasy goodness has been whispering in my ear, sending me coupons via email, and looking delicious on commercials. I had already ate something I shouldn't, but still within my daily calories. Kept telling myself, "but a burrito would makeup for the wack popeyes I just ate". I said all of that to tell you thank you. I pressed on this message and made it home filled with a great word. Cut it Lord!!!

I definitely have had problems with being reactive. I even thought about that this morning when I almost blew up at my car, I realized I have an issue in self control and impulsivity. Too, thoughts of quitting as an orbit around the head is exactly what I've had with my church... I've been so angry and frustrated with my churches apathy toward the divorcecare ministry we host, and our response to covid where most kids are still not able to come back to church... so many things I'm so angry about and I know I'm supposed to go to this church but I am just so hungry for a church that cares about hurting kids and teaches the Bible on Sundays. it's so hard to fight. and I feel like I'm alone in it so often.. I'm not alone, but I also know that I'm not supposed to be divisive. I haven't handled emotions very well. I get overwhelmed easily sometimes. I need to get better at that and remember that I have self-control because I have Jesus. I am not a slave to my emotions and anger and impulses. I choose, because it's my say over what my body chooses. Thanks for the reminder, as always. Keep goin'!! :D

This is soo so soooo good. I needed this and timely as today I did the homework for the Wife Academy, late, but did it: planting seeds. And reading the back of the inserts for the plants i planted in the soil today, it said some of them would take over 120 days to harvest. I think God was side eyeing me cuz then I am listening to this sermon at the same time I am planting them and boy of boy this lesson of not quitting and waiting is so important for me to learn. I have been quitting soo much lately though I do know how great our God is and he is never late on his promise. And my mom was telling me to continue to speak life over my little plants, (like speaking to the rock lol) that they will bear the fruit. I really am soo grateful for the timelyness of this ministry and how you stay connected to the Holy Spirit. Obedience is everything! I have been very convicted and humbled today. And oh, my name apparently means Joy :) Halleluyah! I receive Joy once again in my life and speak Joy over this nation.
