Showcasing six recent U of M fine art graduates, In Retrospect brings together a diverse range of artworks created by the artists during their time at the U of M School of Fine Arts.
Artworks including paintings, sculpture, and installation, pursue a common thread of self-expression and experimentation. With themes related to anxiety, emotions, the figure, memory, longing, mourning and what it means to be truly seen. The exhibition’s range of talent and contemplative subject matter inspires the audience to understand art as a tool, that are both visually pleasing and healing. On display June 7 to August 23, 2024.
