Another benefit to the tricoderma of the symbiotic relationship is they're in on the ground floor, literally, for the decomposer role in the off season.

Just listened to this in podcast form - well done Diego! The interaction where Diego would start a question and Dr. Harman would cut him off with an answer was frustrating at first - Diego often provides context in the question that is highly useful for the listener. Fortunately Dr. Harman's answers were generally clear and easy to follow, and if they seemed to veer off the intended question I think Diego's followups would help fill in the blanks. It was very clear that Diego had prepared well for this interview and had a sheet of solid questions, but was also able to go freestyle to followup and explore the limits of Dr. Harman's knowledge. Overall another excellent chapter in this series - thanks again Diego for making this and putting it out there!

In india most of organic farmers used tricoderma on large scale from seed treatment to soil treatment and by foiler sprey and its effective in every way same result with psudomonas fungus

I wonder if trichoderma is a significant contributor to the beneficial effects of vermicast or the Johnson Su bioreactor.

In regards to the question @35:01 regarding interactions between Trichoderma and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, I found an interesting study about the T34 strain of T. Harzanium(title says it all really), shame most Trichoderma inoculants don't specify the strain of T. Harzanium: "Trichoderma harzianum favours the access of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi to non-host Brassicaceae roots and increases plant productivity"

Good video. I was particularly interested in the ability of roots to support colonization of multiple organisms, which was answered. That being said, looks like Diego has the ad frequency turned all the way up as high as it will go, which is tacky and irritating AF.
