Have been very happy with the sound from my Aurender A10 the last couple of years. This video tipped the scales for me and I picked up a N20. It is being lined up with a Berkeley Audio Design - Alpha DAC, series 3. Thanks for the discussion. It's been helpful. ... Edit a couple of days later: I had no idea digital sound could be this high quality. I put some John Coltrane on this morning, and haven't stopped grinning. Every instrument sounds natural. There are no words - this combination is spectacular!

I am watching this. As I love this. With items far apart. Isn't there cables up to 8 or so long. What about an outdoor ground

Fantastic episode once again ! Thank you for that. Aurender is producing some amazing products and the software upgrades always bring real improvements to the functionalities. I love my old W20 which is still very stable and reliable and above all an extremely musical music server

I stumbled into the mighty A30 and thought that was it, then my dealer who I didn't get the A30 from asked me why I got it-based on the system I have and both him and Ari told me that I needed to try the N20. I was very hesitant, after all the A30 has a lot to offer. But as I lived with the A30 I started noticing it was sharper and not as smooth as my D-10X is with CDs, even though I was using my D-10X's DAC. So I Bought the N20 and omg what a pleasure everyday I listen to it is❤️. It brings streaming to a level I never knew was possible. It's definitely on PAR with the D-10X's CD playback.

Aurender support and service is exemplary. I had issues with my N10 and Aurender US went out of their way to help me out even though my N10 was out of warranty! They have my business for the rest of my audio life. The N10 is paired with my MSB DAC and both brands is what I'm sticking to for my digital front end.

If Ari prefers the sound of analog, he should get “the” DAC to have… playback designs mpd-8…just say’n : ) I LOVE my Aurender btw

Mike/Rick, great episode - answers a lot of questions for me. I've been an Aurender user for around four years and love that it is very stable. When I've made an upgrade, such as inserting an EtherREGEN + Paul Hynes LPS, my N10 really responded to that, plus a good bump from a power cord, and even network cables as well. Should also mention that Ari has been very helpful in answering questions in the past and I've had the chance to meetHarry a few times at my Dealers functions here in OC. Based on all my interactions with Aurender, they are just a great company. BTW, came to you some years back because of Jay. I'm on the West Coast, so probably won't be visiting anytime soon!, but absolutely enjoy getting to see and interact with you here on YT.

I have the MSB Premier DAC. I'm getting an Aurender A20. What's the best connection: (1) A20 to preamp ?, or, (2) A20 over USB to DAC to preamp? Thanks.

Trevor, you really want the N20 for the Premier. Then use ProUSB/ProISL.

Would love to know, the n150 is priced amount others such an innuos and auralic. I am curious how competitive the sonic abilities are of the n150.

N150 is most analog/natural to me in that range. If you’re in the USA, give me a call.

@@highendaudio Thx. Since posting that question, I learned PS Audio used to sell a phono preamp called the Nuwave phono converter which included an A/D converter to convert LP's to digital files. Its been discontinued, but you can find them for sale on the usual online places. I will buy one after I trade in my Hifi Rose 150 for something else. I'm currently thinking of an Aurender A200. Rose simply lacks decent tech support, plus IMO they released their products too soon - hopefully they will be much better in another year. Can the we connect the A200 to a computer via USB to transfer music files to a hard drive installed in the A200?

Just ordered an A20. Wish it included the better headphone section, but am looking forward to the A20's improvements over the Rose 150 I have now. Appreciated the help from Ari & Kelly at Arender.
