As a lifelong Louisiana resident who used to walk and work on along those backroads in the country and marshlands as a youngster, this one hits. There were nights I'd swear I saw Squatches and Frog people or whatever hiding behind every tree, Lol

As a kid, I saw the movie 'Frogs' and it always made me keenly aware of just how many critters we're surrounded by at any given time. The ones we can see and the ones we can't.

@AlternateAurora Oh you just reminded me of every old hunting and fishing trip my dad and his Richard Pryor looking best friend would take me on as a little kid. I would be in that tiny motor boat thinking there were lake monsters just under the boat, Loch Ness monsters, my little imagination would take all sorts of twists

Thank god that I was born a city girl and raised by my grandparents in the city of Chicago rather than rural Louisiana because I would be terrified of having to walk home from work at night in the backroads of the bayou lol 🤣.
