Dooooood! LOVE this "vacuum" idea, and I JUST did it on my own secret wars 8, newstand addition that was perfect in EVERY way except for 1 crow's foot indentation on the spine. THANKS my dude! GREAT information!!!!

Hey John. Are you using the flat shoe on the sealing iron, or the one with the curved working surface?

This Iron was set up with the curved bit.

I sadly learned the hard way that too much heat on foil is no good 😂. Sometimes I gotta just let things be that can’t be fixed.
