How humiliating for this soldier. It makes me mad to think our military have to put up with so much disrespect simply because it brings in foreign money. It's high time they and the mounted guards and their horses were protected from these ignorant mobs.

The thing that Truly Irritates Me is these Tourists that don't take the time to respect that these Men & Women that are in Uniform here at the Gates, are SOLDIERS on Guard! They are Members of The King's Guards, in UNIFORM, with an Unsheathed Sword on their shoulder! They are not Actors or "Characters" dressed up, for you to take pictures with, like one can do at Disneyland or somewhere, They are SOLDIERS ON GUARD! What part of SOLDIER, do these ppl not get? They do the same thing with the Mounted Soldiers! They grab the Horses, try to hold them, even try to kiss them!! Are you kidding Me? These Soldiers are kind of Victimized bc they are not allowed to leave their Post until a Replacement Arrives, so they just have to stand there! Tourists need to take time to study the Customs & Rules of the Countries they Visit & be more respectful! London has always been heavily visited by ppl of other Countries & I don't remember ppl being so Boldly Disrespectful as they are in the last few years!! 😡😠

The police should make them stand a minimum distance from them, at least 2 meter. And none of them even said thank you,

I'm an introvert so 30 min and I'd be out of there. Kudos to the guards and horses that do that on a daily bases.

I am going to have to stop watching these videos. It makes my blood boil watching these ignorant tourists behave in such a manner towards these guards on duty. But it also annoys me how this situation has been allowed to develop. Such behaviour from tourists should have been discouraged long ago, full stop. There must be ways and means to keep people clear of the guards, and the poor horses who are mauled at and petted continually. Come on Kings guards get creative and restore some dignity here.

There should be some way of keeping the idiots at least arms length away from these poor soldiers!! They are fully trained, battle ready troops, not a bloody attraction at Alton Towers!! They are there guarding the official entrance to Buckingham palace, not there for a photo opportunity!! I noticed not one of those people said may I have a photo, or & I know this costs a lot to some people, a simple THANK YOU SIR or MA'AM!!!!! The armed police are there, they should be helping to keep these brave soldiers of the Kings Guard safer.

I wonder what the guard's instructions are regarding accommodating tourists? There MUST be a line between being cardboard picture ops and doing their mandated guarding duties. It is disrespectful to treat armed guards like everything they are not. They are not fake. Nor should people who don’t understand horsemanship stand close to the King’s Guard horse or ever think to touch the reins. That is a serious breach of conduct. I commend the King’s Guard for putting up with this bs. Sad thing is, here in the USA, our Christmas displays are treated no worse. Customers come in and think some display is so cute that they have to take a holiday picture with it … Honestly, does that sell the item? No. Have some respect!
