Very rare moment. to have an entire family together and watch how dad teaches them to play and fight. These pups will be the most socially adjusted of all. What a lesson we can learn about the trauma of separation, just 10 days of damage.

Saved! The whole family is together by the grace of Takis and Giannis of Jutta Shelter. The kids are so cute, chasing after their dad around the tree. Life is safer and better for them from now on.

It's like watching a yellow stone park wolf pack, daddy is firm but gentle. ❤❤❤

IMHO, this dog family pack survived because they reverted to the instincts of wild dogs, especially wolves. Wild dogs live in family packs. Dad stays with mom and the puppies. Adults help puppies. Older pups from previous litters stay with the pack until they want to find a mate and have pups. This arrangement helps improve hunting success, especially for larger game. Puppies learn to hunt from the older dogs. There were rabbits, and probably mice, in that area. In one video, there was the sound of running water. The vegetation provided good hiding places for dens. In other words, they were not in a city, no cars, no people with poison or guns. They were a very lucky dog family! 🥰

The father-dog is a border Collie, a shepherd, he has experience herding sheep, and this is applied in his case to manage, discipline his own "herd" of 7 puppies now. He's the dad of the puppies, otherwise he'd reject them, even hurt them. Two of the puppies are black like him. He stuck with his family to the end, to protect them. Mama-dog has the dominant genes. They reverted to wild instincts, like wolves, to survive. Mama-dog is a hunter, so the match between the papa=collie and mama-hunter is perfect and super interesting to watch for Takis and his volunteers. A lot to learn watching this dog family's behaviors. Superb job, Takis, you are hero.
