Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Charles “C.J” Wax ‘69 serves as mayor of Rockport, Texas, the epicenter for Hurricane Harvey’s destructive landfall. Checkpoints traveled there to see how the community is faring, and to fnd out how Wax is helping the community recover from the devastating blow.

Every government organization stepped up and helped, a lot. I saw none of the bureaucracy folks complained about in the past. All I can say is thank you for everything.
