This is my father's favorite hymn. He's 96-years old, and his mother used to sing him to sleep with it. Good memory. My Dad can't sing a note, but he'll sing every word with me, out of tune, monotone, anything but on tune. Mother always had a sweet voice. She passed several years ago. So out of tune's ok with me.

I remember my mom singing this standing at the kitchen sink doing dishes and I was not even waist-high to her. 65 years later I remember every word of that song. I am so glad she taught me spirituality rather than religion.
