@@Ad33080 basically isekai is the concept of going to another world. You often see it in anime, and this is the first major web novels to feature it.

for hospitals in general, it takes about 10 secs for the backup generator to turn on. Since the MC was probably in the ICU in critical condition, those 10 secs caused her to flat-lined completely

@@Arturo-gh1on Anatomically speaking that's bullshit. On average the human has enough oxygen to last about 4 mins before brain damage would start to set in, and death at around 10 mins. Yes she's an ICU patient but that leads to my 2nd point. The staff. Even if the system failed, staff would still manually keep her breathing. (This has occurred in hospitals severely damaged during massive hurricanes.)

the way the book describes it, it sounds like she was completely dependent on machines for breathing, heartbeat, and dialyses so a serious disruption can cause many complications. Also hints that her father had a company that may have built the game she was in and that it was created to give her a life besides tubes and hospital bed

I’m not sure if you’re actually aware of what happens in the rest of the series, but there have been other former players in this world for more than 10 years now. This wasn’t a sudden ‘yesterday this was a game, today it’s not’ situation, “yesterday”, when she arrived, the world was already real, and has been for years. Video game mechanics don’t really apply here, anymore

​@@wadewilson8011 I will say Goku is boring because him and rarely Vegeta seemed to be the only people who could do anything (Plus DBS made Power Levels even more bullshit). Alucard (or at least his Abridged version) is fun because he refuses to take anything seriously. Saitama is interesting for his struggles to find a decent match. Ainz is interesting because you want to see how far down the dark side rabbit hole he goes. And Rimiru is interesing because it does not just focus on him, I love watching what everyone else on his side can do. Kirito just seems to be able to do everything perfectly the first time and can do no wrong and all the girls love him, the only thing interesting in SAO are the sword fights.

She's from a rich family. Her parents passed away in a car accident when she was still in elementary. She war paralysed in the accident. Her father was supposed to be the heir of the main family but he renounced it marry her mother. His brother, her uncle got the title. But he treats her just like this daughter. His daughter, her cousin and him visit her regularly. She's been in Leadale since it's beta stages and practically lived in that world because that's where she move. Opus is hinted to be a Leadale admin and was her teacher. He taught everything she knows, that's why her personality is brutal.

@@anirudhsukigakirei9397 Dunno if it was changed or not, but in the manga the report has a headline reading plane accident when talking about that. Can’t remember reading one way or another when I read the LN, so I don’t know if that was changed. But I do remember Opus was mentioned to definitely work for that company, and was more or less going around testing/confirming various quests, and other features, and this was known to the Guild both he and Cayna were a part of.

It’s even more crazy, because she’s not the only ‘player’ here. The others all came over while playing on the last day before the servers were shut down, though, which was ~7 months after the MC’s death. At least one such player has been wandering around for 10 years, though. His Guildmate, 3 years. I really want to keep reading the LN to find out more about how that whole scenario came about, as I’ve heard the Web Novel actually touched on the nature of that world in some way, so I’m quite curious.
