Great ride out 👍 you clearly get what the Guzzi is about and not just going by the spec sheet, it’s all about how they make us feel.

It is always a pleasure to find someone who gives them Moto Guzzi true credit. I own and ride a V11 Le Mans from 2004 and I can't get enough of it. I wish Throttle C. was in Texas; we are lacking a true Guzzi enthusiast dealer here, in H'town! Actually, I asked a family owned dealer if he could represent Guzzi; they humored my request but told me Piaggio said only if you also take Aprilia. How could you get around this requirement at Throttle C.?

As far as Italian bikes, I have owned a ducati 860, moto morini 500 camel, laverda 3cl 1000, cagiva 650, and currently have a 1989 Moto Guzzi Mille GT 1000 and a 2013 Moto Guzzi Stone 750. Have owned several German bikes to include BMW and Zundaps. Grew up with British bikes--meaning Triumph and BSA. Have never been interested in Harley. Owned several Suzuki's to include 2-stroke models, the water-cooled two-stroke 750 and the Wankel rotary 750. Have been riding motorcycles for over 50 years and the Moto Guzzis have been my favorite above all the rest. Quirky, reliable, tractor-like in that the Japanese "refinement" is not there--but if you love just being connected to machinery and sound--Moto Guzzi!--mike battle

I’m looking at every bike imaginable to go with my ‘21 Low Rider S, from adv bikes, to naked bikes, to bonnevilles, to another Harley, but I just keep coming back to this V7 by Moto Guzzi. It doesn’t have the specs of the other bikes I’m looking at, but it just looks fabulous! I love the engine! This black special edition is absolutely stunning! I saw that it has a little more hp and torque but wondered if it was noticeable? Judging from the reaction of our rider here, it is.

It does not have rider modes , you can change the traction modes only.The taillight is not smaller , its the same as on my 2021 V7 Special. on videos from England some of the new V7s have a smaller taillight. Seems they have 2 different size taillights. When you take your test rides wish you would go on more country type roads , so you could concentrate on the handling , and compare it to other similar bikes. But keep your focus on the bike your riding. Love that your a Guzzi dealer, I have a 2023 V7 Special Edition on order, and i will be keeping my V7 Special as well . The ride and the experience of Moto Guzzi is something more riders should understand. Keep up the great work and word of MG.

Hello! I really liked your video. I have a question for you, is it possible to service MG without having a dealer, it's just that these are so unique and distinctive bikes that I just don't see an alternative to them? For more than a hundred years, bikes have been produced at the same factory, almost manually, who can "brag" about it now. Thanks!

@throttlecompany

I think they would be great together. The V85 is your long distance bike with cruise control and luggage. The V7 becomes your city bike or back road twisties. The bikes characters are different enough that it wouldn’t matter that they share a drivetrain. Makes it easy to stock spares!

Exhaust mufflers need time to break-in to clear stuff out? Are you making this up?
@throttlecompany
@throttlecompany Жыл бұрын
Exhausts sound louder with use. I am basing this on my experience seeing motorcycles when they are brand new and throughout their service life. The same motorcycle with zero miles is much quieter than one with 20k miles. I’m sure the individual components which provide the sound dampening are less effective over time.

Strange comparison, but how does a v7 compare to riding a 70s cb750? I daily the cb750 and really want a v7, will probably get an older one (750 size).
@jfro5867
@jfro5867 9 ай бұрын
Doesn’t. I’ve had both the 750 & 850 V7 and owned two 1970’s 750 Suzuki’s. The performance is not as strong on the Guzzi but they are very torquey and relaxing to ride, but not fast. If you know you can chill the Guzzi’s are amazing, handle well, comfortable, decent brakes and sound lovely. If you can get the 850 it’s a nicer ride IMHO that extra poke makes a big difference. The riding position will feel very weird at first but you soon get used to it.

@jfro5867
@jfro5867 Жыл бұрын
@@adventuristnw2321 yes the heat shield does cover the ‘cat’. I have removed the LHS exhaust to take a quick look inside and the cat is made from a high quality and very fine honeycomb, it’s not restrictive, the exhaust is very light and very well made. The cat to end can is all welded together in one piece, it is very high quality. Just FYI I have seen both Mistral & Agostini exhausts and it’s equal if not better made that those (IMHO). Sound is subjective but it’s got a lovely deep tone and I have no plans whatsoever to mess with it. Hope that helps.
