I'm a bit older than most of the people commenting on this video, this show was well after my time and I didn't really watch it myself though my nephews and nieces used to watch this when they would come over, and I always liked the theme and it reminds me of that time when they were much younger and they and their parents would come over on a Sunday (as it usually was) and we would be together. Since my mum passed away that no longer happens, but this tune reminds me of happier times.

I was born the same year this show was made, so this is my absolute childhood. I miss my Iggle piggle plush so much, I remember sleeping with it almost every night. I turned 16 recently and listening to the theme song for the first time again in over a decade came as some large nostalgia and made me miss being a young kid. I waited for one episode of this show until the wee hours of the night, because I'll tell you why: I'm from Israel and this show aired live at night and only in the morning was there a new episode every time (very early, around 5,6 in the morning). Because the main experience of everyone who grew up on it was precisely at night. Even as a child who was a devout viewer of each and every episode. It brings back a lot of good memories. Where I live, it was aired late at night (11:15pm). I remember watching this when I was little. I read some theories that this show might have a deeper, darker meaning but honesty, I dont care. This show has always hit near home. I was so deeply connected with it because that's exactly how falling asleep felt (i had insomnia). Alone, on a "boat", with only your blanket, slowly drifting away to a land of dreams.

This makes me tear up so much the memories ❤️ i remember I always used to watch this as a kid at my grandparents, and I slept on the coach when the song at the end came and my grandparents picked me up, and put me into bed 😭 the memories this give me.
