3 ай бұрын"In the Penal Colony" by Franz Kafka is a story about an officer who demonstrates to a visiting explorer the functioning of a unique and brutal punishment machine that inscribes the condemned man's sentence on his skin before death. Set on a remote island, the narrative explores themes of justice, punishment, and the human condition through the interaction between the officer, the condemned man, a soldier, and the explorer. As the officer passionately defends the machine's use and its founder's philosophy, the explorer expresses horror and revulsion, refusing to support the continued use of the device. In a dramatic turn, the officer frees the condemned man and subjects himself to the machine, hoping to revive faith in its process. Will not reveal the ending here.

I like these stories, but you definitely have too many commercials. Every time you get comfortable listening to your story is interrupted by a commercial, so I’m not watching them no more I really like them to take away the commercials. That’s why I hate TV because it has to be to commercials.

Same. Most of us listen to stuff like this to relax and maybe even sleep. Every few minutes an add comes on volume is usually way louder on those for some reasons. Ruins it.

It's not his fault, YT puts the commercials where ever they want. Use Brave browser, this way you'll have no commercials.

I dumped cabled/dish TV and saved a ton of money. Now I have paid version of YT - no commercials

Just download a add blocker app and watch on it. I haven't had ads on YT for a long time now and it's free.

To everyone complaining about ads. There are apps for that! It's free, and I haven't seen an ad on KZfaq for a couple of years now.

Kafka is one creepy dude, but I like what he writes. I take his stories not so much for entertainment, although there is that value, but as serious literature concerning the human condition.... too bad he didn't stick around longer.
