this interview was crazy good, hopefully everyone who's bashin' on Lavar sees this. the Ball brothers simply love the game of basketball and will do anything and everything they can to be remembered for what they were best at in this life. everyone needs to quit worrying about Lavar, he's all talk and he admitted it. he's not on the court; he's just being a parent. if you haven't heard of the Ball brothers, you will now because of their dad. stoked to see how the rest of this championship turns out for Lonzo.

@5:20 that's real if you have a passion for something and get money for it you won at life. That is so real because a lot of times we end up doing things we don't want to to get money. I love this man passion and reality and perspective on life. It's good to see a father in the news and being talked about and he back it up with intelligence instead of ignorance and back up his comments and comes correct.

May not agree with Mr. Ball on other topics, but regarding his philosophy on increasing skill level I happen to agree. I used to play my father growing up and he was 6'3 230. Obviously didn't go all out till my teenage years. But he pushed me hard and used his skill and size in order to increase my skill level in as many facets of the game as possible. Really appreciate what he did. He made me a smarter player and a better player all around.

He's a great father. That's the end of the story in terms of raising his kids and anyone who disputes that needs to check themselves. However, it's just as ignorant to say he's a bad father as it is to say he isn't gambling and likely setting them up for failure by calling out and going after other people saying they'll be better. He's raising the stakes for his kids every step of the way and he's not the one having to step out on the court to take on these guys. His kids seem laid back and cool people, which is why all this boasting from their father doesn't make a lot of sense. It's one thing to boast in college and make these predictions, but no one in the Ball family knows what it's like to play a minute in the NBA. So until they get there and start performing, this guy is gonna look ignorant every time he goes after a pro. Time will tell based on the results, but you have to respect his confidence as a father while laughing at his understanding of what they're getting into because he's never been there.
