A couple of days ago, the InArt Ledger Joker (sculpted hair version) arrived from Toys Wonderland. The figure represents my 1st InArt piece. Compared to a Hot Toys figure.. the sculpted hair looks better than any Hot Toys figure in my collection, as it looks more 3D, where has Hot Toys tends to go for flat, sculpted, well painted. The tailoring looks mighty impressive. The real metal machine gun is next level! The purple box, with sponge insert is ok, but Hot Toys wins when it comes to fancy art work on their boxes. The only area where the InArt Joker fails is in the way it attaches to the base via magnets - is it the magnets to blame or the over round sole shape of the shoes to blame? ..all in all, i happy super happy! ..i have the Joaquin Phoenix Joker 2 pack on pre_order :) ..given high price point of InArt, i will not be abandoning Hot Toys any time soon.

If the only IP’s that matter for someone are solely MCU and SW, KeCo might have a point about 3rd party . But if you care for the rest of the IPs that are completely neglected , that’s a super snobish take . 3rd party brings out characters and IPs the big ones would never touch . 3rd party makes budget headsculpts that look better than 250-500 custom headsculpts .

Loving the intro music! Dune 2 is a masterpiece and cements the franchise as the best Sci-Fi franchise currently. BUT and it's hard for me to explain, but I'm having trouble figuring out if it has reached such a status in pop culture that I need representation of it in 1/6 form. Like, I'd get a John Wick figure first before I'd get a Paul Atreides. But I'm leaning more towards wanting to get it. I just don't know if I need to get it

On the third party topic, I can't believe gametoys is technically considered "third party" with their FF7 releases when their figures are better than ALL of the "official" overpriced figures on the Square Enix store. Square Enix is dumb asf with who they give their licenses to lol. Here's to hoping gametoys eventually does stuff from the Nier franchise🤞

I'm looking for the upcoming Mars Toys Batman 66 figures...nobody's licensing a Yvonne Craig Batgirl or a Julie Newmar Catwoman...

Given what JND are offering, i am wondering how much longer they will be in the game? Their 1/6 figures are waaaaay over priced! ..and their statues are hyper expensive. Are collectors still wow'ed by the silicone skin and real hair concept.

2 years of inart and hot toys...... Quality over quantity = inart. Better comms = inart. Choice between the same figure (price isn't that much more) = inart. Release window = inart is actually quicker so far (appreciate batch system needs work) For me, money is with inart. Unless there is a character hot toys are doing, that inart cannot. Indiana jones dial of destiny, delorean part 3 etc. Yes hot toys is pumping ten fold releases, but their bad side (poor quality figures, poor sculpts, zero updates since prototype, ones rushed that have been well over two years and still poor), this tends to be easily forgotten. This is where fan boys, bots etc. Will always be louder and forget these points/ figures. I am a neutral collector (we always win), I just want them all to be successful and ultimately gives us more choices (which is fantastic of late) Let alone third parties which are doing releases just as good.

This is the first 1/6 Magneto that I'm actually excited about.

Hono studios magneto looks pretty good but WTF with the price? 2nd figure in the line already increased $15..is this going to be the pattern for this new line? Get collectors sucked in and then creep the price up? I’ll pass

I think it's funny when you guys refer to Inart and J&D as "Big players" on par with Hot Toys, Sure for Quality, I get that.... But given how little they have put out, Are they really that big? Exo-6 is pumping out Trek Figures, Threezero has put out way more as well.
