“Total Lab Automation” (TLA) System by Roche (Switzerland) & Sysmex (Japan) installed at Islamabad Diagnostic Centre.
This is first of its kind in Pakistan and this milestone of IDC was celebrated with inauguration ceremony held on 24 May 2022 at Islamabad.
Swiss Ambassador Benedict de Cerjat was the Chief Guest. He praised and congratulated IDC on this partnership with Roche and said that it will add value in Pakistan healthcare canvas by serving patients with further improved quality tests and enhance relations between Switzerland and Pakistan.
The ceremony started with the welcome note by Dr. Rizwan Uppal, Founder & Chairman IDC, who reiterated his mission & vision of offering quality diagnostics at shortest turnaround time at affordable cost.” He said that TLA addition in IDC will help further to improve lab results quality and reduce reporting time.
The guests of honor included Dr. Syed Fazle Hadi (Member of Board of Authority IHRA), Dr.Asim Rauf ( Chief Executive Officer DRAP), Prof Dr. Aamer Ikram, (Executive Director of NIH), and Mr. Thilo Brenner ( Sub Region Head Roche Diagnostics). Thilo came all the way from Singapore only to attend this ceremony.
They all appreciated & congratulated IDC on the installation of the state-of-the-art TLA system by Roche in this region.
Mr. Lance Little, Managing Director, Roche Diagnostics Asia Pacific praised founder & Chairman IDC, Dr. Rizwan Uppal for this remarkable initiative of TLA at IDC, and assured of his company’s full support.
At the end of the program, all guests had detailed TLA visit led by Dr. Aftab Ahmed, Director Lab IDC. The ceremony concluded with honoring the invitees with mementos.
