I had them test the 16inch soft shell inside this 15inch case inside the apple store and that all fit. Seems to fit my new 16inch quite well, yes it is a bit snug but so are all the other sleeves ive purchased for my previous macbooks. I also doubt apple would officially endorse this sleeve as the only other sleeve for their new 16inch model other than the one they actually make if it didn't fit, there would have been numerous tests done by a company the size of apple to ensure their advertising is correctly. I thought the 15 he was putting in actually looked too loose but to each their own.

David I’m still using mine 2 months later on my $4000 16inch and it’s honestly perfect for me. I don’t like cases that are too loose and while you might not be able to fit the large 90w battery in the side pocket easily like in the video, it will fit. I have never used the accessory part for a charger though so all my dongles go in there and they fit perfectly with the computer.

Hey, thanks! Minimal risk of the zipper scratching the laptop when putting the laptop in or taking it out. Once enclosed, I suppose laptop is exposed to the zipper on the inside so if it’s constantly held upside down, maybe the zipper can scratch? Haven’t noticed any scratches on our laptop.

It might. But if it does, it’ll be bulky and may put pressure on the zipper stitches.

I don't think it would. If it does, it'll bulge out and wear out the sleeve faster.

Height and width shouldn’t be a problem. I see the XPS 15 is just a tad bit thicker than the MBP 15 but I think it could still fit this sleeve.
