We need more movies like Inception... I just finished watching it for the second time and I am still amazed as much as I was when I watched it for the first time... The fist time I watched the movie the ending left me frustrated and I just wanted to know whether he have woken up or not... I watched it for the second time after few months and I realized that I missed the point.. At the end it doesn't matter if he was in a real world or not... He spun the totem and as soon as he saw his kids, he just went to hug them NOT CARING whether the totem is going to continue spinning or that it'll fall. What matters in the end is that he found happiness. This movie impacted me emotionally and mentally and we NEED more movies like this one... This movie is like magic it's more than that. No movie has made a emotional and mental impact as strong as Inception did, hands down it's probably the best movie I've ever watched and I watch a lot of movies. Good job to Christopher Nolan who directed this move, to Hans Zimmer who made the soundtrack and to all the actors... Please create more movies ♥

@YouOnlyIiveTwice9 жыл бұрын
Bre Mitchell I think the reason why Inception was so much better than Interstellar was the logic behind it. I love Nolan films because he doesn't treat you like a child like Michael Bay does with just a bunch of explosions and no story or character development. He makes you think. Inception was easy to grasp because the concept itself dealt with things we could relate to such as the time difference in a dream or dying and then waking up. Interstellar dealt with concepts that despite them being true, nobody has ever experienced it to better understand it. I'm sure it was an astrophysicist's wet dream, but I'll never understand that multiple dimension part going into the black hole or even how gravity affects time which is why it's difficult for me to like it. I'm sure some people will just argue that I don't need to understand it to like it. It's just physics and all of it works that way 'just because.'

Interstellar was the second WORST movie I've ever seen it made no sense

The Red Viper I can see your point completely. For me, Interstellar prompted an intense desire to understand that field a whole lot more. I've been dedicating a lot of time dabbling in all the various fields of space science. I've never seen such a wondrous film and it left me wanting to see interstellar travel in my lifetime. It was the only movie that has ever left me madly inspired.

Not only do I remember the first time I watched this movie (in which, I left the theater literally shaking), but I also remember the next two times. The second time, I watched it at home with my parents (my mom already saw it once, as well). My Dad is not a movie person at all, and I was afraid he just wouldn't understand and lose interest. Surprisingly, he enjoyed the movie so much that we had an hour long discussion about it afterward. The third time, I watched it in a college class "studying" how the movie is really a contemporary film noir. This made me look at the film in a whole new light.

After Inception and Memento i really cant wait for Interstellar and what Nolan has for us!
@uncensorer9 жыл бұрын
Memento - groundbreaking, avant garde, earned Nolan his directing job for Batman. Insomnia - an excellent psychological thriller that had a great twist and great performance by Robin Williams (RIP) The Dark Knight Trilogy - the third best trilogy ever made (behind Star Wars and Lord of the Rings) Inception - Nolan's best film and his first true baby as a writer and director. One of the greatest films of all time with an ensemble cast and an epic story about dreams and reality. Interstellar - Nolan's first attempt at the science fiction genre. Hopefully will become my favorite film of his.

+Samuel Bennett Nah Im with you. I thought Interstellar was amazing and incredibly bold..... Had a friend of mine who hated it for an entire year before seeing it a 3rd time on a flight and apologized to me and kept harping on how much of a genius the plot was. I dont think people will truly understand or appreciate the creativity and boldness of Interstellar until a few years from now. Nolan's movies are sometimes ahead of their time and this one is another one. I would've LOVED to have seen what Nolan would've done with the Matrix screenplay --- a movie with SOOO much potential that was ruined by the Wachowski Siblings imo..... I've always said that Nolan would probably be the first director that would write, produce and direct a biopic on GOD....

Probably my favorite of all time, I simply can't fault it. The music, acting, cinematography, sound design, set design, writing, etc. People say that The Dark Knight was Nolan's best but for me it comes down to Inception and Memento.

Why the hell have they not made a sequel?!? This is one of the best action movies ever.
@MrSwadloon9 жыл бұрын
Some great movies shouldn't have sequels (like this one). I mean, the story was fantastic, but it had a slightly ambiguous ending (not gonna spoil), and where would the story go from the end?
@zanfear9 жыл бұрын
MrSwadloon Do you know the wedding ring theory? I decided to side with that lol. I think if the Nolan brothers really tried they could use the technology and make a spin-off film, perhaps involving doctors and police entering the dreams of a psychotic killer. But this is kinda already like The Cell lol, and so would only make Inception less unique.
@alxndrp06089 жыл бұрын
I think if there had really been two movies about inception inception would have been the sequel and the first movie would have been called "extraction". Extraction would have dealed with cobbs relation to his wife, another big extraction job and why cobb is wanted in the real world. And then we would have had inception as a sequel to go even a step farther. I would have really liked that but of course this is all theoretical :)

What if someone came back in time after watching Inception and planted the idea of making the movie ‘Inception’, by going in Christopher Nolan’s dream!!
