The current PTR changes a few things relating to this build... 1. The start of incinerate was sped up, making it safer and easier to pull off, and harder to dodge for enemies. 2. Incinerate's damage was increased from 130% to 150%, however the 2nd hit was removed, effectively taking the damage down from 260% to 150%. 3. Now grants a stack of 3% empower for 7s per target hit, 5 stacks max. This honestly won't be too useful as you'll be lucky to hit even 2 let alone 3 targets, and the empower reward is very minimal. 4. Grit was added to the base ability, so Stable Incinerate was renamed to Empowering Incinerate. Empowering Incinerate increases the damage by 17% when on armour and 30% when on weapons, up from 12% and 20% respectively. This unfortunately is under the condition that the target must have a burn status effect. Efficient Burnout is being changed to Fortifying Burnout so I highly recommend taking that if you run Burnout. This doesn't change much about the video, but it just means that Incinerate will be more versatile, and less powerful/bursty. Pretty much every other Fire Staff ability and a bunch of passives got buffs too so there's a lot of new fun builds you can make that I'll be exploring!

nice vid. my cents: if you have efficient burnout in your firestaff, your next hit will do 32% increased damage. (this wont happen should ptr changes go live). you can have thwarting strikes as well as someone said. and vicious or keenly empowered as a 3rd. incinerate on armor for 12%. add that all up: 32 (burnout) + 11 (thwarting) + 15 (empower. you usually crit with burnout and it procs) + 12% (perk on armor) + 5% fire damage (ring) + 10% fire damage (runeglass). I have 100-0 quite a few light users with no ele protection with this.Add empowers from tree and you are at 50% cap (burnout doesnt count to this). its massive. you can even run with medium armor to be able to stand a few hits. enjoy while it lasts.

How would you make GS and VG work? I’m currently attempting to make it work. And I think it has potential but I’d love some suggestions or ideas

Pro tip: since stable incinerate adds grit, (plus incinerate gains grit by default on PTR) you can get Thwarting Strikes on your FS for even more base damage :) Will benefit running this with Meteor shower + Empowering Meteor shower as well
