I remember see the actual group "The System" in 1987 with my oldest son bouncing on my shoulders. Still have original track today.

When I first heard this song back in 1982 I heard its real potential. I wanted to rearrange it, add real musicians with a brass section, and make it funky. Bluey took the same idea and knocked it out of the ball park. Love it, love it, love it!!

Really. David Frank is classically trained, and this was the era of synths. Lol. Big bands were disappearing. You cannot make it any more funkier than Frank and Murphy(North Carolina born).

Deep Waters was the 1st song I ever heard from them. I never heard of Incognito until I learned it was them. I did research on them & started listening to other songs they made which I enjoyed. I see this guy Bluey is one of the masterminds behind this group, & I love the solo songs he did as well. Lately, I've been putting their music on my playlists.

As a longtime Incognito fan, this blew me away! I remember the Robert Palmer version and I thought it needed more! Blues is the man! Who is the lady in the video and who is that dancer? They both made the video an instant classic! Great job by the bassist and rhythm guitar player!
