Regarding excess tax deduction by bank etc on premature withdrawal of FD. In my case HDFC bank had shown excess interest in 26AS and AIS on premature closure of FD in FY 23-24 but I correctly calculated INTEREST PAYABLE IN THE FY, feedback was provided on IT PORTAL and paid due tax . The ITR was accepted as net interest received was declared.

Deposits created,for 181 days ,those renewed in same financial year, and in AIS shows original plus renewed amount total, I e Deposit purchased shows double

सर मेरे 26as मे 31 मार्च को 4 लाख की एक एन्ट्री की हु4 है वो रकम ना खाते मे आई ओर ना ही मेरे GA55 मे शो हो रही है लेकिन ग्रोस टोटल मिस मैच हो रहा है 16 नं का ओर 26AS का जिसके कारण मुझे नोटिस मिला है 139(9) का तो क्या करे प्लीज मदद करे

AIS is not real time. There is a long gap between activity done and AIS indication. Although feedback option is available but by the time it is reflected in AIS, we generally forgot and not able to correct. AIS lost its significance.
