Grown ass woman here. Everything I thought she would be. Very mature, smart, articulate and very well rounded. This is one Southern messed over. Pretty much treated as an outsider. It came back to them. She still carried on when you put her behind someone. This helped her get ready for the world. This helped them ear crow. This Is That Girl.

Tea spilled...she put a lot if rumor to rest about not getting captain this year, and addressed the negative backlash. She answered those questions so well. She is so regal and kind hearted. She silenced the haters.

They did a huge dishoner to the whole team and the 19-20 swac season not making her a second year captain. Her growth was captivating, and she led one of the cleanest most precise doll teams to date. Those 8 were BEAST, and she helped showcase every girls strength. Her best moments as captain was never about her being the better dancer ,or outshining anybody,but leading a group of women who ALLL shined under her leadership. That group danced like one cohesive unit & those 8 girls looked like ONE dancer. That's what a true leader does. She brought something special to the team and deserves alllll her flowers!

I went to high school with Gabby. She was a senior and I was a freshman and let me tell you....I looked up to her then. She’s always been a boss with class. 💗

Gabby was already one of my favorite dolls. But this interview made me love her even more. She walks with God and I love that...you can see she is lead by the spirit. She is so graceful, poised and head strong and her reign as captain showed all those qualities.

Im glad she admitted she didn’t have to teach camryn and Arielle how to dance because people swore they struggled lol. They were two signed dancers to big agencies. Loved this interview from Gabby!

I always figured that Gabby must have just decided to step down, so it was wild to learn that she was basically demoted...especially since 2019 wasn't much to write home about. I thought her "stepping down" was the right call going into the season. But in retrospect, I think she should've gotten another go at the captain spot.

I’m glad she still gave reverence to her captain, Danielle even though she was one of those people who stopped talking to her after she became captain in 18. I think we often forget that these ladies are still so young and impressionable. I see Gabby going very far. Blessings to her!

I'm be real if it wasn't for her and KP I would of never watch the dolls. This shows why she deserved that captain spot. All I'm say is she is so wise and humble.

Here again after her book. I want to give her the biggest hug and pray with her because every person minus her crabs left her out to dry. It was painfully evident that the team did not respect her but administration did nothing to back her. But like her mother said, God will handle them all and they will get what they deserve

These interviews make you appreciate the girls for more than their beauty. This one here is quite remarkable. She broke down how it feels to walk a dance team captain's shoes. While we smile and enjoy these ladies, there is a back story that shouldn't be. The level of hate they receive, the sleepless nights, the hectic schedules, the high expectations. It's too bad that dance can't be a simple as those of us on the outside looking in think it is. These girls go through literal hell at times. Let's appreciate them all because even though it's serious to compete, it's still just dance. Let's all stop behaving in a manner where we place dance above all of life's other difficulties. Let's help them enjoy their college years and not look back on them with regrets. It should be a heart warming memory when it's over, not one that brings them to tears. Let's protect our HBCU's in every regard. We all we got black folks!

I thought I loved Gabby before for her technique and the leadership she's displayed but I know now that I love her for her spirit. Although I'm older than her it felt like I was listening to a big sister. She has kept God first all throughout her journey and just to hear her speak in this interview with you has been so inspirational. She dropped so many gems and I hope people are able to take the things she said and apply them to their own lives.

What I've learned from all these interviews is that none of these girls actually had an origin in the style they danced at in school. I have so much respect for them as dancers. Muva Gabs is such a well rounded girl and a beauty inside and out.

I never really comment on these types of videos but I have learned so much from gabby just from watching this video. She truly is a inspiration for so many others including myself. Personally I love dancing and I would love to be on the dancing dolls but ik that I have so much to learn dance wise and mentally. And as being a young lady gabby has taught me most of all to learn how to be a Woman and honestly I’m so grateful for it !! THIS made me really like and respect Gabby. I have been sad about Jordan since hearing about all that happened. But listening to Gabby, her experience, how she carries herself, her goals and ambition, and knowing that she really felt that God opened the door for her to be captain.... can't help but love her!
