I haven't been able to get to the Oregon Coast since Covid hit last February. Hoping to get back to shoot some waves this Winter since ours are so weenie here in Southern California. Glad you were rewarded with some epic light! Your shots are gorgeous. Thanks for the motivation and for sharing part of your creative process with us.

I love the mood and vibe you created in this video. Also in the back of my mind I'm always thinking about how you literally must have to leave your cameras, drive off then go back and fetch it to get a lot of the footage (or hike back). Also nice to see great images being taken with the 24-105, I'm always amazed how good that lens is for a fairly long range zoom. I had the 24 for awhile and surely it was a bit sharper but the 24-105 was so good I found myself not taking the time to change lenses and later purchased the 20mm which I'm thrilled with. I hope you never lose your awe and wonderment for nature as a result of doing this for a living.

Instead of another “what’s in my camera bag” episode would be fun to see what’s in the back of your truck. Curious about your storage system back there. Beautiful images too.

With a winter storm warning for the next couple of days we will have plenty of opportunities to shoot images with snow and it was good to get a reminder of how to approach these. Also, thanks for these images of the Oregon Coast. They are from an area we just recently discovered and now have plans to return there often. These videos are so helpful! Both the ideas on composition but also insights on how to set up the camera for post processing. It was your early work on the Oregon Coast that got me watching you on KZfaq. Though there are other good KZfaq photographers out there, it is most helpful when you are able to view work done "in your own backyard." Looking forward to more!

Thanks for sharing such great images as well as the settings and your thoughts. I live within a few minutes of a rough rocky coast line but have really struggled to balance the light from the sky, the water and the darker rocks. I feel a bit more motivated thanks to what you shared.

Beautiful shots - land and sea! Living on the left coast always amazes me that you can be in the snow at one moment and then in a short sleeve shirt taking in the ocean and it's wonders an hour or so later. SoCal has it's wonders too, but need to get on the road up to the NW again soon. Thanks for taking the extra time and effort to give us all the full experience of your trip.

I have just started back into Photography. I haven't touched a Camera since the mid 80s. I must say that the first pic along with the music really hit me. I was in absolute awe. I'm having a hard time but pushing through by watching as many youtube vids as I can. Slowly I will get it all. I love to learn.
