Having gotten married after 30, i think marriage also helps to give us a sense of purpose in life…you have a responsibility everyday and you know that you are answerable to God.

Hence why they say Love is a verb. A doing word, not a noun. It's never, I feel this way or that way about you but rather what you actually do for that other person😊

Love Is Love. It is seen in words, actions, and thoughts. It's not just a "verb" or a "noun". Love is God, and how did God show love? Through His words, actions and thoughts towards us. So Love Is not just a verb or a noun, Love is Love, love is God, love is wholesome. You can't just love with your actions you have to love with your words the same with your thoughts what are your thoughts towards that person. So I don't believe love is a "verb" and that's not what the Bible teaches. It's beyond that, Love is Love, love is wholesome, love is God. Love is not a verb and definitely not just a verb/action it is more than that. I could go on and on but I'll stop there 😊❤️💚.

@@favouradis your opinion. You are entitled to it. I still maintain you don't speak about how you love someone. Your actions will show that you actually love that particular person. Either by acts of service or otherwise. So I still maintain it's a Doing word. That's how I see it & no one has to agree with me

Love is romantic though Brian...you are wrong there I feel. I was married for 7 years ,was with the person with a total of 10 years, divorced as we were unequally yoked.Marriage however in my view is one of the greatest,most precious gifts the Lord ever gave us and yes anything worth much will take some work .
