hmm good info except you didn't mention about the pay cycle... i've been using discover it credit card with under 10% utilization for past three months. I use up to $400-$500 and then i pay it off before billing due date so when pay cycle comes, credit bureau only sees about less than $20 in my balance. That's one of the factors that has helped me alot!

My question is, what if we use, for example, $900, which is 90% of our credit line, but we pay it off by the statement day? Is that OK? When you say use less than 10%, do you mean to make sure you don’t have a balance of more than 10% when the card reports to the bureaus or to actually utilize less than 10%, I don’t know if you get what I’m trying to say
