Keren, you are so amazing , love how you go in and just do it, most people, including myself would have never thought of this on a gel plate. I love alcohol markers but am not very good with them yet, takes some practice. Thank you for all you do in this great community. Blessings!

I have a set of 100 Ohuhu alcohol markers. I need to get some of those gel plates. I also need to try dropping some drops of alcohol and making some new designs. Thank you for this video 😊

OH THAT'S AMAZING!! check out the video I did after that using the markers on Yupo paper to create flowers, you don't need a gel plate for that technique

I never swatch either but I couldn't figure out the shade of the color from the cap lol. it was actually relaxing and didn't take that long. I was watching TV while doing it. I really liked these markers if you're looking for alcohol markers, I like the quality for the price. I never found it worth it to by Copics for 5-8 dollars a marker. that's just too expensive for me.

After buying a few individual Ohuhu markers from their Honolulu line, I recently purchased a set of 24 markers (also Honolulu) for only $19.99. Their markers are great! I prefer the Brush & Chisel, but they also offer the same markers in Brush & Fine Point. Very high quality, and their customer service is unparalleled. My *only* complaint is their shipping charge - $8.99 - is high, especially if you only want to order a few markers. It's not based on price or weight; it's a flat rate.

oh so glad to hear! I love the brush and chisel which is what I got. I guess I live in Canada so. I always have to pay shipping and 8.99 is pretty good although for a few markers its not worth it. however the sets are so affordable that if you get them then the flat rate shipping is pretty good.

Love it, now i know what to do with all the alcohol markers i have. Only my paper sticks on my gel plate. Do you know what i am doing wrong?

Hi Sandra, I honestly don't know why your paper sticks to your plate. can you tell me more information. LIke are you using a gel plate or a hard plastic plate. what paper are you using? what paint? how long are you leaving it on? etc I would need more details if I needed to help you

@@KerenTamir Hi Keren, Thank you for your reply. 😀 I have a plate from gelpress. I use acrylic paint from Talens Amsterdam and bleiswijck Holland and copic paper but also other paper. I try to let it dry all the way or when it still a little bit wet. I read somewhere that it can be because of the paper, if wood glue is used in the paper. So I'm going to try it with some other paper as well. But the weird thing is that a few years ago I had no problems. It's really a recent thing. I also cleaned my gell plate and treated it with baby oil. I've watched a lot of videos and never seen the problem so I don't get it anymore. But it's such a shame.

Sandra it looks like everything you're using is the right thing to use. It could be the paper but the only way to know that for sure is to try different ones and see. Its hard to know if I'm not there with you. I didn't use copic paper for mine, I used regular 90 or 100lbs cardstock and I think printer paper or deli paper works really well too. Maybe copic paper is different?

You can try they might not be as smooth and not sure if they will fully react to the isopropyl alcohol. I have tried sharpies on yupo before with alcohol and it didn’t give me the same effect. Copics, spectrum noir are comparable

Prices to alcohol markers like Copics are very expensive. It comes to 8 dollars a marker sometimes. These in comparison are super affordable and quality compares to copics. I linked to amazon Canada below so you can get in Canadian follars

I don’t understand the gel plate. Why not work directions onto paper since you only get one print?

Dear Keren; I just found your channel after a pain filled anxious sleepless night where I gave up and picked up my phone through blurry bad eyesight and poof there was exactly You❣️ and your Neurographic art (one thing I have is epilepsy and I still can’t spell Nuerologist correctly lol!! I feel so understood for the first time in 15 yrs by several of your videos I’ve now watched over the past two hours! I don’t wNt to take up too much space here with my story but Bless you❣️🦋 I have a strange feeling of feeling I know you for years….such relating to everything including the near death/mortality(just not transplant related; Heart related) and I would sincerely love to connect with you. Of course you don’t know me from anything so hopefully I can share in your safe comment sections so you can get to know me(terrified as you mentioned of the vulnerability and stigma of illness physically and emotional 💔) I’m going to go have another lil cry but I will be back.
