Nothing much better than a working line QH. I’ve got one with some TB content back in her great great grandsire and she does dressage. A quarter horse can do anything they set their mind to, which is also the reason they get so many vices. These guys actually like to do things.

Actually that’s just horse muscles chances are that a very expensive show horse so they probably take it to swim and keep it in shape

It used to be amongst purists, any QH exhibiting paint (or piebald) markings such as bald face or high socks extending past knees or hocks would not be eligible for Quarter Horse registry but would be eligible for Paint Horse registration. Obviously things have changed in the last 30 years in regards to registration eligibility. OR this beautiful example of an APHA was mistakenly included in a video about AQHA, and people assume what they see on the internet is always accurate and to be taken as absolute fact.

2:16 is a Paint.

@@mollyjane4628 modern APH are from QH bloodlines. Paints can be registered as QH so long as both parents are also registered AQH. The AQHA doesn't have a rule anymore about how much white a horse can/cannot have to be qualified. The horse at that time stamp has the typical build of a QH, and is likely a registered QH, so he more than fits into the video.

@@singularity613 I knew that paints are from QH bloodlines but I had no idea the rest of it! Thanks for enlightening me. There’s a rift between fans of foundation Appaloosa stock versus modern Appaloosa stock, and having grown up riding the lighter built often naturally gaited (foundation) appaloosas, I learned firsthand of the arguments and heated debates between both sides and I wonder if there’s anything like that with QH vs. Paint people?

All mine are QH's and I can say they cant run fast run but short distance. Boy you dont stand a chance with your 16/17H TB

It’s actually not the thing the horse is on is called a patience pole, it teaches the horses not to be buddy sour and the one this horse is on is actually better then lots of the other ones because the pole doesn’t move around with them but in this one it does
