Big props to the music edit for Diggy Mole

This game almost just looks like a Borderlands mod

Just to let you know. The blue and orange bot you gunned down in like the first 15 seconds is 'buddy bot' and you can pick him up and he will always appear at the start of a run after that. I should also mention the game is free on game pass for the xbox

Roboquest absolutely rules! (Although yeah, the damage/difficulty spike when you hit the fields could be tuned down a tad)

Highly recommend this game! It's so much fun. I've put almost 150 hours into it (across Early-Access and release), mostly in coop with a friend. Heck, if you're unsure if it's a game for you; then there is even a demo you could try :)

2 mins in and in getting such amazing borderlands vibes but rouge like I'm going to have to buy this. And was it just me or was the diggy mole boss playing the diggy diggy hole song?

Last time I played this was 6 months ago, glad to see it's been improved, I might even jump back into playing it! Even back then the gunplay was great, they have the core gameplay down pat, now it just needs more content and it'll be a fully fledged game!

I'm certain they've received some pointed emails from Gearbox.

You need to play this again with a friend, this type of game isnt usually what I like to play, but I still had a blast playing this with my mate.

roboquest is based edit: don't be afraid to abuse the heck out of sliding in this game. just sliding more often and jumping out of your slide will make you able to move way faster and avoid way more stuff (obviously like, sliding with reason, i mean use these as movement tools not just spam them out lmao. i clarify because i may have worded that a little poorly) edit2: also. if you come across it. i highly recommend the torpedo rifle. especially if you're making an explosive build, especially on commando. but just in general, the torpedo rifle is a great gun and.. well, it does half the aiming for you. synergizes well with extra projectiles and fire rate, and anything improving explosive damage/dps. and of course everything likes more damage and elemental effects. And that poppy item that increases auto crit chance but removes the benefit of hitting an enemy's weakpoint synergizes crazy well with explosive weapons since they can't hit a weakpoint anyways. edit3: If you want to track your Fury points as Commando, watch the % movement speed bonus you're getting above your health. You get 1% movement speed per stack of fury, so that tells you right there. Of course other things can affect your movement speed bonus... but you can just compare relative to what you'd have with 0 fury to compensate.

Very happy to seeing more large content creators covering this game. This game is so underrated and deserves so much more coverage and success!

Tom you should really play Hypercharge: Unboxed! I think you'd love it! The level design is on another level, plus it is wave-based Tower Defense FPS. Building, upgrading, shooting. Super fun simple game that suits your channel perfectly. If anyone has played it recently, you'll see why I recommend it after watching this vid :) hope I sold it lol.

Game is a lot more fun if you upgrade your guns. You can see after a few rounds your damage falls huge. You're meant to upgrade it every new level pretty much. Fun game though, love it. Also exploring the levels reveals a lot of cool extra stuff, hidden in upper areas and stuff. Like riding rails up to the top bits in the first few areas.

This game has quite the meta progression after playing a while u will be zooming all over and it feels amazing.

It's like a cross between shoot many robots and serious Sam but with the borderlands art style

I think Tom just needs to setup a macro to auto hit Q all the time. Using it on cool down would probably be more usefull than just flat out ignoring it.

Yeah, Fields really tests your actual dodging all the stuff skill. And prioritising the sniper helps. Myself I just can't get past the third boss.

Its satisfying and addicting but when you get going its good and even if you die i don't really get angry i just try again. Started recently and playing on Standard has a fair bit of challenge 😅 I'm getting better tho. Gunplay is snappy and feels really good. Its like Borderlands meets Doom 2016/Eternal so I'm all here for it.

The movement & animations remind me a lot of Serious Sam

i suggest Ziggurat 2, surprisingly fun with decent progression

The OST by Noisecream is great, I listen to a lot from the artist, and this is the first I’ve actually seen of the game lol

hey the blue and red robot boy you see right at the beginning (0:28) is a friendo, if you pick him up you unlock an extra weapon in the starting zone! but yeah, this game is great, the name does NOT fit it tho makes it sound like an open world survival mmo or a "for kids" builder game

Had this game a while still cant get past the next biome though 😂. So good though

This game makes me hope that Borderlands 4 will get a ‘rouge like’ mode.

If you like this style of game, I strongly recommend Gunfire Reborn! The gunplay and movement aren't as good (obviously), but in turn the abilities and upgrades are leagues better.

This game is awesome! You should also check out Gunfire Reborn if you're into this. It's pretty similar, but with little animal characters with an asian fantasy theme instead of sci fi.

I had everything and was enjoying the game and then with 1.0 they reset everything. It was a sad moment of betrayal and i uninstalled because of it.

Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1498 OOOO a very nice game indeed, does look fantastic and feel very satisfying, I say the good energy of it translated well, although can't beat a first hand experience. Plus, so many good boys in it XD, I mean that radio one for a start, but every robot has such character and is fantastic. Also, love the bosses XD Damn, the reload upgrade that allowed for the "Endless Shooting" build was a good one indeed :D Diggy Diggy Mole :O
