A lot of these are... I don't know. Remember those old '50s science magazines predicting stuff like the flying car? Well, in this video, there's a flying car (in a roundabout kind of way), still out of the realm of reality or practicability. The pocket metal pole looks totally fake. I don't think it's even possible to get a smooth pole to extend from a small same diameter pole.
