Auto fuel is a joke...how could turning your gas station into automated be cheaper than self serve?😖😖
@shannonp4037
@shannonp4037 Жыл бұрын
Right?! But there are some states that mandate an attendant fill your car. Some states/areas allow the fuel nozzle to run hands free until the auto-shutoff kicks in and other areas don't have that feature. It is weird. Personally, I have no problem with self serve as that is when I clean my car out of trash and wipe windows down.
@michaelmike5709

I use one on every fuel up, it works every time , it’s a little more expensive, I go in, buy two coffees, pay for the fuel, I come out , get ready to go , hand the other coffee to my wife, it works time in and time again. Always a good outcome, it’s very efficient.

@@shannonp4037 Ah ok, I think they outlawed the lock on fuel pump handles everywhere down here in Aus. Buggered if I know why. The pump shuts off when the tanks full and the fuel hits the end of the nozzle anyway, so even if ya walked away it's not like ya can over fill it and have fuel spill out everywhere and be a hazard. Bout the only thing the robots might stop is idiots who leave the nozzle in and drive off and rip the hose off. But most pumps have detachable safety hoses anyway so ya can't rip the pump outa the ground lol

The robot loading machine is cool.. but not really useful when you realize that in MOST warehouse and shipping , boxes are RARELY uniform width like that. Granted, that is something you can pretty easily build a machine to work around. Spring loaded rollers with a wider path for the boxes would do the trick. You'd of course need to program the robot to stack boxes according to size. And since you're doing that, you might has well build a sorting robot the loads the conveyor robot. Since you're doing that, you might as well rebuilt the conveyor robot to have adjustable side panels that the robot adjusts based on a visual scan of the boxes. .. and that would be better because less moving parts (not having spring rollers) means less things to break.

America is an energy hog; the average annual electricity consumption for a U.S. residential utility customer is 10,632 kWh. So in the US, you'd need at least five of those to run your home. Average use where I live (Alberta, Canada, little need for A/C) is 7,200 kWh, so I'd need three or four. Energy efficient homes with LED lighting might get by on two. In third world countries, even one 'why bother machine' could possibly power half a village.
