There are simply not enough stunnings to describe this property. I can't think of one thing I'd change about this property. The inside flows and makes sense. Gorgeous land. The owners really made a tranquil area among the olive grove. I love it. That area is one of my favorites, as well. Too pricey for my budget but I hope someone who appreciates it gets it ☺️

I love that it has an open, functional, and spacious kitchen with ample counter space . Quite a contrast to the typical small, closed off walk-in closet size galley kitchen we’re used to seeing. Looking forward to our November tour! I’d love to have a home like this and a smaller home near the center of town and split time between them.

There are no superlatives too excessive to describe this property... it is absolutely gorgeous and an amazing price even without whatever extra costs might be entailed in closing the deal. I would buy it just for myself, leaving the downstairs living area as my TV/family room, and using the upstairs 'living room' as my master bedroom with ensuite and attached dressing room. I would use the other upstairs bedroom as a library, and simply have a pullout couch or Murphy bed in the downstairs family room for any incredibly occasional guests. The flow and feel of this place is absolutely wonderful throughout, although I would have no interest whatsoever in the furniture or fittings other than the kitchen appliances, washing machine, and patio furniture. I'm sure their cat will be very sad to move away from this place as it is extraordinarily beautiful inside and out and that pool might even encourage me to learn how swim. Thank you for a lovely tour ...much enjoyed as always.

Had to stop the video as you came on the terrace and showed the view of the pool and the mountains. I could sit there for hours. STUNNINGx10 and it's actually an understatement. Wow!!! The walk through the house was amazing, but didn't hold a candle to the walk through the garden. I could see myself basking and relaxing in the lovely, picture perfect gardens with such stunning views. This home has the heart and soul that is exactly what I want in an Italian lifestyle and I personally think it would be a blast having you and your wife as neighbors. I certainly hope that since I don't have the money for this place, that you get some totally awesome new neighbors soon. Ciao

not that cold ...... rarely gets even close to 0C in winter here. Was nearby this past Christmas/New Years and well into middle of January and coldest it ever got one night was +5C. But when the sun came out following days, it was back up into teens during day. Was up at nearly 2000m, above Passo Lanciano at Mammarosa hotel/bar on day after Christmas and area was jam packed with people going for a refreshing walk since it was still +3C and brilliant sunshine in late afternoon. A few ski runs at Roccaraso were just starting to open up this year on January 17th when our holiday came to end 😢😢

Dave, I got two more “s” words for you. “Speechless” which is what I am after seeing this home. And “storybook” for my second word because this house is magical and unbelievable. It is a true Italian dream house. There isn’t one thing I would change and to think it comes fully furnished is way beyond imagination. Good evening David. Lovely home and garden and breathtaking scenery. We were wondering if there are restrictions on Canadians purchasing property in Palombaro? As you may or may not know, Canada introduced a law in January 2023 restricting foreign property investment in the country in order to increase the inventory and help Canadians be able to purchase homes. As part of the reciprocity principal Italy apparently enacted a similar restriction on Canadians purchasing property in Italy. However, I’ve heard that it is really up to the notaries in a given province or commune to determine how the law is applied in that particular area. So that is why I was wondering if Canadians would be allowed to purchase the property you’ve shown here or other properties in your area of Abruzzo.

Pretty sure in one of the recent Q&A livestreams, Dave mentioned that notary he uses had agreed that anyone, including Cdns and Aussies, could buy as long as it was in a region where the 7% income tax deal applied and town was less than 20,000 people. In Abruzzo, that would only rule out Chieti, Pescara and L'Aquila and possibly Teramo and Lanciano.
