Yes sure got that right. If he wanted to show real magic, when he did the thing with the sand falling and then splitting it in 2 , the sand falling from his right hand should not be being deflected it should have fallen in to a void and then coming out of his left hand.

Ok i figured out the whole trick! 1 the sand was stopped by a transparent item poking out of his dress by his torso. 2 the circle thing is actually divided into 2 parts. One half is thinner and slides inside of the other half. He has it inside his sleeve, and at the end of the trick he stores it in a secret compartment on the side of his torso. The glitter is just coming out of a hose hidden inside his sleeve.

Looks like the mechanisms sprung a leak somewhere there... Luckily the young lady knew just what to use when her magic dress coat head gasket was suddenly compromised... JB Welds: Magic show lady dress coat head gasket premium stop leak *MAX* .... It's the only Magic show lady dress coat head gasket premium stop leak with the aluminum glitter in it that tells you you KNOW you'll at least make it to the end of the stage... ... Hopefully... She'll find another NAPA before then...

@@chazzabeanboy5966Not sure if these are the exact methods but it should be something like this: Clear plastic plate hanging from a string in his hand stoping the sand. Flexible metallic looking hose that he very skillfully handles/bends + lets it slip into his sleeve. The smoke comes from a tube in his sleeve attached to some kind of fog creating mini device hidden there as well.

Whatever the metal thing is actually goes back into his jacket not his sleeve, you can catch a glimpse of it once it's "gone" it's right hand side of the jacket by his waist.

@tunaking4689 it's not metal, it's a flexible tube, likely rubber, painted to look like metal. It can be stowed compactly then assembled into a ring as it Is revealed creating the illusion he produced an impossibly large metal ring from nowhere.
