Old vintage neon signs never get old.

My Grandma had a horseshoe pointed up over her door. She said it was for luck, and you hang it pointed up bc that way it holds your luck, but turned over with the curve up, all your luck pours out. So, imo, that sign was wrong.

My wife and I had “Elvis” renew our wedding vows for our 25th wedding anniversary at the Graceland chapel. He even sang 2 songs. And the funny thing is that we went to the Pawnstars shop and bought the rings. We are from Australia and enjoyed every minute of it.

Re. the horse shoe “good luck/bad luck” thing, I was always told to imagine the shoe shape like a pot that catches luck; when the prongs face upwards (i.e. resembling a ‘U’ shape) it’s gonna catch the luck, but when it’s upside down (as on that motel sign) all your luck will spill out…

I am born and raised in Vegas been here for almost 49 years now and the places you go when you come to my city crack me up I've Never been to . I need to get out more. I probably know more about Florida and California Then I do my own city

renewed our vows at 15 years in the Little White Chapel. ended up doing it outside under that Cherub roof.

Have you ever gone to the Neon Museum?? They are responsible for all of those (what you referred to as "new") neon signs scattered throughout town. Those are all restored signs that have been turned into public art. Before you leave town (unless you already have?) you should explore the Tropicana hotel! They are rumored to close it and build a new baseball park for the A's in its place. Its the last of the original strip hotels to have it's original building and original hotel rooms still intact!

Jimmy's came from Boston back in the day when there was a funeraser called the Jimmy fun, which is still there today. They would give you chocolate sprinkles on your ice cream and called it Jimmy's for the funeraser.

The next time you come to Vegas, I recommend you take a tour (after dark) at the Neon Museum (you were very close). I recommend you request guide Chris Thompson. He will tell you all about the neons you saw on the blvd., and he will show you the refurbished and not refurbished neons they have at the museum. He will even explain the building that the neon museum has. He loves sharing the history.

I liked watching the back side of Vegas….I visited Vegas in 2003 (won a trip there) my aunt lived there for a bit and she showed us around including Freemont steet, Hoover Dam, red rock canyon, some hotel where Julia Roberts did part of a movie in, and some other places and we stayed at MGM so we checked that area out on the strip including the shark aquarium. We also saw wild horses and other animals hanging out in the desert like patches along side the roads. We did this all in three days. I really liked your vlog though since you showed stuff I haven’t seen.

Luv it custard is the best! We’d go there all the time when I was in high school. That was a long time ago. I never get over to Luv it anymore unfortunately. I just don’t feel like driving down there.

Horseshoe ends pointing up is good luck so the good luck can fall in the horseshoe. If you put it the way it was at the Lucky Lady, the good luck falls out of the opening.

Such a great day of exploring right up my alley love the old vibe around town man i could explore that whole area all day long and it was even quite fun seeing the area lit up at night especially seeing the neon signs lit up and your buddy’s car even though it was a replica it was still awesome in my book anyways thanks for an amazing day of exploring now with that peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next awesome Adam the daily woo adventure peace ☮️ out ✌️

Interesting the vast expanse of old empty motels outside the tourist areas. My first memories of Vegas were in the 70’s as a kid when my parents went there. It was a big deal and a different time. Vegas had the gambling market cornered before the casinos we have everywhere on tribal land now! I had those chocolate sprinkles growing up and they were indeed called jimmies-my family was from the Midwest. I wonder if you go swimming at your hotel…I remember swimming as a kid at the Frontier back in the day!

The vintage neon signs n motels along Fremont St are wonderful n I agree- someone with money should refurbish those salvageable motels for posterity!!! As an ex motel manager in Ohio, I am very fond of old small motels, of which I have lived in many!!!! Great video!!! Attaboys, Adam the Woo n Danno!!!

I like the Mack truck artwork. That looks cool. ~~ All of the vintage motel signs also look pretty cool.~~ Depends on the person. But I have always been told that the horseshoe is good luck when it is open upwards because you are letting the good luck in. The way on that sign is actually bad luck. I have always seen the horseshoe displayed with it opened upwards so I think that is what most people believe.

Fremont East and the art district is my favorite part of Vegas. Mothership coffee shop is my favorite coffee shop in Vegas.
