How is the general labor in the area? I imagine once you get past the money side of things the restoration and finding the right people to do the restoration and where they would stay or they would live on site would become a very real issue.

I just saw a video a few days ago of another fortress that they said was the last fortress of Siena to fall to Firenze. This one is much bigger. I think all that land with the vinyards and forests would draw me even more than the palazzo. The palazzo is not in bad condition. It just needs bathrooms and a lot of appropriate furniture, not Ikea stuff. 😂😅😂

Not sure what you are selling here, the camera showed me you and trees and very few good shots of the property. You kept talking about the defensive position, how about distances to places, access to services, transport, hospitals, communication? There is potential there for sure… but there is a big problem… Italy’s huge population decline practically the biggest in Europe (if not the world) this is why there are more and more properties coming up for sale of all sorts; this is why the idea of the €1 house came about in Italy; this is why the price of ‘abandoned’ and no longer economically viable properties (like this one) will only drop; this is why owners are desperate to sell and leave; this will be why renovation will become more and more difficult because of a declining workforce and craftsmanship dying out. This place is far from anywhere, it’s not even convenient as a hotel unless you looking for solitude or a place to wright your next book without interruptions; where would the staff come from? I’ve seen similar for a fraction of the price and more conveniently located (and shown in a better way).
